DanAid will always be by your side in difficult times.
DanAid was created in 2018 after a series of iterations with different models since the year 2001. The need for the service arose when it became clear that less than 5% of the population in Cameroon had health insurance (as in many sub-Saharan African countries), while at the same time the costs of care remaining with families continued to rise. This leads to deaths due to easily curable diseases, delays in treatment, or the impoverishment of families following an illness.
DanAid was created to relieve its members by covering 70% of a family's basic health expenses, while improving access to quality care. This is achieved through an online platform (mobile) as well as a network of health professionals enrolled in a "care pathway" controlled and coordinated by a dynamic team.
